XY-80 plasma spray gun uses argon (or nitrogen) as the main gas, hydrogen (or helium) as the secondary gas, and deionized water as cooling water.
To ignition between an anode and a cathode, to generate high-frequency arc.The spraying material from the gun nozzle to a powder and injected into the plasma flame and melted, and finally to be a compressed gas highspeed jet to form a coating on a substrate.
Because of the high temperature of the plasma flame, particularly suitable for spraying a ceramic
material such as Al203, Zr02, etc., can be the material of choice. Widely used in the aerospace
industry.
